Tyrone Improvement Group
VOLUNTEER
The Tyrone Improvement Group was founded in 2021 by a group of local small business owners and citizens who want to see Tyrone thrive and the buildings brought back to their former glory. We welcome any Tyrone residents and business owners to get involved with our group. Please come help us with our mission to support the town and all those who call it home.
Our group meets every other Monday evening at the Brew Coffee and Tap House. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our events, fundraising, and logistics. Contact us if you would like more information about any of our events or how to get involved.
Veterans Banners
The Tyrone Salutes Banner Project offers the opportunity to recognize the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country.
Downtown Flowers
In the 1980s, hanging flower baskets filled downtown. TIG is working on bringing these back by sponsoring hanging baskets or stationary boxes.

Sponsor a Veterans Banner to hang downtown for someone in your family or for a community member who can't afford the cost.

We will be meeting at the Railroad Park on Pennsylvania Avenue at 9:00 a.m. We will be in need of volunteers to help clean the sidewalks of the downtown.
